
Post-conflict Bosnia and Herzegovina:
Edin, a former Bosnian soldier was sentenced to death but released on compassionate grounds following the end of the war. The aim in Bosnia, was to uncover residual scars of its conflict and to probe psychological traumas that remain as a consequence. Many in Bosnia tell that the war has ended, but in its place a war of the minds began.In modern day Bosnia, a mental health crisis has emerged with PTSD being a leading problem among both civilians and veterans, who, arguably are all veterans following the fall out from a bloody and war that sought to divide the country.
